This Privacy Policy describes how GateClerk, operated by StormPay Inc. ("GateClerk," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform. We take your privacy seriously and keep what we collect to a minimum.
Account Information. When you register, we collect your name, venue name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash). We also collect optional information you provide such as phone number, website, and address.
Billing Information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID but do not store your full payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information.
Event and Sales Data. We store the event information, ticket types, and sales records you create within GateClerk. This data belongs to you.
Usage Data. We collect basic information about how you use the service including page visits, login timestamps, and feature usage to help us improve the platform.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of GateClerk and its users.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable steps to protect your information.
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we may retain your data for a reasonable period before deletion. Sales records may be retained for longer periods to comply with legal and financial recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@gateclerk.com.
GateClerk uses browser localStorage to maintain your logged-in session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We may use basic analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns.
GateClerk is a business tool intended for adults operating event venues. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@gateclerk.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
